Elise Gray, barely 18 years old, has been an orphan
since she was 12. Nothing makes sense to this tormented teenager and she
decides to take her own life by throwing herself in the freezing cold
South African sea. During this attempt however, and before the effects
of hypothermia take effect, she sees a great white caught in anti-shark
nets. She frees the shark (thinking this is her last act of kindness)
but what eventuates is her survival…and an extraordinary bond between
her and the shark..
Elise begins a new life as a marine biologist and creates the
Save the Shark
foundation. She dedicates her life to saving sharks but her efforts
also result in her becoming a target for the mafia groups behind the
savage, and unrestrained fishing practices.
