KHARMEG&ELISE

Hi again!
Good thing we made a three dimensional model of the "Sealogic" catamaran right at the begining of the project. It has been of a great help for the artist Mariano de la Torre throughout the 68 pages comic book "Kharmeg", which, just as a reminder, it will soon be on sale, very soon!

Que buena idea tuvo Mariano de la Torre al hacer un modelo tridimensional del catamarán "Sealogic". Ha sido de gran ayuda a lo largo y ancho de las 68 páginas del comic "Kharmeg" que, por cierto, pronto estará a la venta, muy pronto!

THE "SEALOGIC"

Hi again, in this post we´d like to tell you about the amazing catamaran "Sealogic". It is on board this magnificent vessel that our main characters: Elise, John and Maxwell take on the ruthless fishing mafia responsible for the killing and slaughtering of all sorts of precious marine life.She´s powerful carbon fibre catamaran, 30 meters in length with a 15 meter beam, a draught of just 60 cm and weighing only 13 gross tonnes. The width of the hulls in the waterline is only 50 cm which makes her incredibly fast. 

The Sealogic has two electric motors powered by batteries which in turn feed on solar energy collected by tens of photovoltaic panels, arranged across the deck. It also has two 60 kWh generators which can help Sealogic easily reach speeds of over 40 knots and are put into action to steer away from pirates and corrupt coastguards. When the weather permits, she’s powered by cleaner propulsion; a giant kite sail, which John Verin handles skilfully.

It is the 3D model above, designed by Gensu Cash, that will feature in the comic. Talented cartoonist Mariano de la Torre will only have to copy and rotate it before pasting it in the sea that he masterfully creates. We took special care in the designing of the vessel, so we can guarantee that she floats! 

Hola de nuevo, En este post tenemos el orgullo de presentaros a nuestro increible catamarán "Sealogic". Es a bordo de esta bella máquina donde nuestros tres amigos presentarán batalla contra las mafias pesqueras que operan impunemente en el mar, matando y descuartizando todo tipo de vida marina. 

El "Sealogic" es una maravilla de fibra de carbono, de 30 metros de eslora por 15 de manga, un calado de tan sólo 60cm y lo más increíble, un tonelaje bruto de 13 toneladas. El ancho de los cascos en la línea de flotación es de tan sólo 50cm lo que lo hace increiblemente rápido.
El barco dispone de dos motores eléctricos alimentados por baterías que a su vez se alimentan de la energía solar recogida por decenas de placas fotovoltáicas dispuestas a lo largo y ancho de la cubierta del barco.
También dispone de dos generadores de 60kw que utilizan para huir de los piratas y guardacostas corruptos, alcanzando velocidades superiores a los 40 nudos.  
Cuando sopla el viento utilizan otro medio de propulsión todavía mas limpio!: un enorme kite que John Verin maneja con destreza.

Este modelo en 3D, diseñado por Gensu Cash, será usado a lo largo del comic. Mariano de la Torre sólo tendrá que copiarlo, rotarlo y pegarlo en el mar que previamente habra dibujado. Os aseguraramos que tuvimos especial cuidad en el diseño del catamarán y podemos garantizar que flota!
